I love detox drinks, but I especially loves ones that help me lose weight. All three of these drinks done by Skinny Ms. are awesome drinks to help speed up your metabolism. I couldn’t not include them as one of the many health and beauty tips!
Lemon-Ginger Flat Belly Drink: This drink is great to have first thing in the morning since warm water helps your digestion. And the lemons have a ton of vitamins and cleanses your liver which is great for weight loss. And then the ginger detoxes your body and kick starts your metabolism.
Instructions: Combine 1 cup of warm water, 1 half of a squeezed lemon, and 1 knob of grated ginger.
Blueberry-Carrot Smoothie Flat Belly Drink: These two are great sources of antioxidants which help you lose weight. Just make sure you use low fat milk or yogurt to keep the calories down.
Instructions: Blend 1 cup of low-fat milk or yogurt, 1/2 cup frozen (or fresh) blueberries, 1 small carrot, and 2 tbps. of oats. You can add 1 tsp. of honey if desired. Then blend and and enjoy!
Green Tea with Ginger Flat Belly Drink: Green tea is an awesome metabolism boosting drink that will help you lose weight fast. And combining the ginger just makes it that much better!
Instructions: Combine 1 cup of water and grated ginger root (about a 1-inch piece) in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add a green tea bag and let it steep for 3 minutes. Then you can discard the teabag and drink while warm. And if you want to sweeten it, add a teaspoon of honey. Whether you drink it warm or cold, it doesn’t matter, just enjoy!
